PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Currently, in the Balearic Islands there are three professional associations in the audiovisual sector, created with the aim of representing and defending the professional, labor, economic, social and cultural interests of its members.

  • APAIB Association of Producers of the Balearic Islands - brings together the producers of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. It has more than 35 companies of the sector associated: documentaries, fiction, TV and animation producers and service companies of the islands. Since 2015, with the support of the Illes Balears Film Commission, the internationalization program was launched to spread the creative talent of the islands. The nominations for the Goya 2016 awards for "La isla bonita" and "I am your father", both co-produced by some of the APAIB partners, endorse the talent and ability to create quality content.
